A few days ago I came across a powerful quote from the book The Four Loves by C.S. Lewis. It touches on a theme that I've blogged about in the past, so I felt like sharing it here. As usual, there is so much that I want to say, so much that I could unpack. Instead, I'll just let Lewis' words speak for themselves.
"The only place outside Heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love is Hell."
